Noon-6:00 pm: Line tour of the original Nevada Northern Railway line from Ely, East Ely, Curry, Goshute, Cherry Creek, McGill back to East Ely Weather Dependent Capped at 24
Individual Price: $25 Capacity 12, Individual price is for individuals that need a ride.
Vehicle (You Drive): $25 per vehicle, Capacity 12 vehicles. Vehicle must be 4-wheel drive and all passengers must wear seat belts.
Friday September 30 – Conference Day 1
8:00 am – 4:30 pm: Registration and check in.
9:00 am - 11:30 am: McGill Tour: Drive to McGill for Depot Tour and Kennecott Building Tour. All passengers must wear seat belts.
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch on your own
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: East Ely Yard National Historic Landmark Tour, Hourly, Capacity 10 per tour.
4:30 pm - 7:00 pm: Train ride “mixer” with employees and participants. Coaches 7 & 8

9:45-10:45 am: Presentation: I Think, I Can, Save a Railroad, Synopsis: An overview of how the Nevada Northern Railway was saved. Speaker: David Tilford, founding board member of the Museum.
11:00 am – Noon: Presentation: Rediscovering and Archiving the History of the Nevada Northern Railway, Synopsis: The Nevada Northern Railway kept an incredible collection of documents, blueprints and correspondence some of which has not been seen for over a century. 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm: Presentation: Photographing the Nevada Northern Railway. Synopsis: Mike Massee presents his incredible images of the Nevada Northern Railway that he has taken. Speaker: Mike Massee

11:00 am - 2:00 pm: Nevada Northern Railway Fire-Up: Locomotives #93, #81 and steam-powered Wrecking Crane A will be steamed up! ALCOS RS-2 #105 and RS-3 #109 will be mu’d and Baldwin VO #801 will be fired up! On Display will be Rotary Snowplow #A, Baggage/RPO #20, Coach #5 and Outfit 06 will be on display. There will be photographic opportunities through the yard with multiple buildings opened up. There will be photo runbys in the East Ely yard.
